Do you think I am making a better decision staying away from Phuket and the west? I just figure I kinda want to get away from the major tourist areas. Or are there some good areas on the West?

One thing that is guaranteed to get away from the crowds is to go . I did this from . The long tail boats go to uninhabited islands off . Dozens of them in the Andaman Sea.
