I've noticed a lot of threads on the forum, fairly high up (with date of July 18 for latest post) that actually date from quite some time ago - 2006 in some cases for last post on that thread.

On the main page of the forum now the name 'papapa' comes up as the last poster at quite a few forums (africa, off topic, asia, south america etc.), but when I open the respective forum, it doesn't show up anymore? Mega spammer which was deleted?
But why does it still show then?

Yeah, exactly. papapa and fghjk spammed us for a few minutes and left about 150 entries in that time! It was a bot of some sort. Didn't stop till I banned the IP. I decided to delete all those entries directly through the DB since that's a lot faster, but then it left a few other areas that were still showing their activity. I'll clear up those last poster ones now too.
