Worried abaut the rains, could someone please recomend me where would it be best to spend the first couple of these months (ag-sept) hopefully a bit sheltered from the moonsoon, or are these two months simply not worth it and i should go later around september? any info deeply appreciated!!
Being the weather, it's very hard to predict these days. I could tell you to stay away from the coastal states but there's no guarantee you could catch a spot of rain during August even in Central India. I went to Pondicherry in August (2005) and it was quite sunny.
If you land in August or September, safe to head to Agra and Rajasthan first. Once October kicks in, head down south to Kerala. I don't know where all you have planned to visit but if you want a few photo guides,
