'Ryanair says sorry to Sir Stelios for 'Pinocchio' ads'
It's such a solid true fact of life though. Easyjet is forever blowing its own trumpet about its so called 'Good timekeeping', when in fact it's very poor compared to Ryanair.
All I can add to that is I've flown with both airlines many times - and Ryanair sweeps the floor with Easyjet when it comes to taking off and landing on time.
I wish they'd do so safely, though. My last flight with Ryanair left the platform 40 minutes late (due to Rome CIA's incompetence); cabin crew rushed through safety procedures while the captain was taxiing like an F1 driver. The guy seated next to me said the captain acted unsafely during approach as well (didn't quite follow his story, but it was a very bumpy ride down). All in all, not an experience I'd like to have again.
Even when he apologizes, it sounds like he's doing it over a pint.
Fools to take him on imo. If they want to beat him - do better.

Ive been on board when Ryanair have rushed things too - there always seems to be time to slowly sell the £3 cup of tea though.
Mind you - if you think Ryanair is bad, try Tarom. They dont descend from the sky when on approach, they just cut the engines and nosedive.

it was silly of ryanair putting Stelios face on the advert but dont think they have learnt from it because Ryanair is known and expected to do stuff like this.

For £50,000, he not only had the idea reported on national television that Easyjet was "hiding" their punctuality reports, but also used a live interview on a major news program to drive the point home several times over. Like I said, there's no way to beat him except run a better airline. If Michael O'Leary ever went into politics, the opposition would may as well give up and go home. I know I'd vote for him.
I do have a complaint though. I do miss the £1 flights. There was a certain satisfaction that an air ticket cost less than a cup of coffee. Seems I now have to pay a whole £5. I'd better start saving.

Ryanair is evil. Did you know they're considering charging passengers to use the toilet. !!!!!!!
