Planning a RTW

Hi all,

You don't say how long you plan being away, you need to know this before you can sort out the amount of countries to visit.
Things to consider when planning.
Budget
Climate
Visas costs (based on nationality), time allowed in country, where to get Visa (some you will need to purchase on route)some you can purchase before you leave, some are from date of issue some can be ordered in advance and are attached to your passport.
Inoculations, malaria tablets required and cost, see you health care professional with a list of all the countries you intend visiting.
If you need any particular medication make sure you take it with you.
Take prescriptions for meds and specs.
Copy passport, driving license, insurance, e-mail all these details to yourself for future reference.
Try and get a bank account that doesn't charge excessively for withdrawing from ATMs.
If you use the Internet for banking when travelling make sure you use a secure site, I used good hotels and libraries which are sometimes free in some countries.
Consider the high cost of tourist sites this can eat away at your budget so be selective.
Next sort out the
Countries and cities have a loose idea of time you want to spend in each.
Research Research Research.
Don't try to fit too much in or you might miss some of the good times along the way.
