what is the best time to visit california, louisville., and is december a good time.
Best time is probably the spring or fall--when the weather is great, but the crowds aren't quite so bad.
On the other hand, if you are a young single---then the summer is best, because that's when all the college kids are out on the beach and everyone is partying on a regular basis.
December is okay, because the rains haven't started to get terrible like they will be in January through March--but it's kind of a quiet time when the weather is fairly overcast most days--so it's not my first preference. If possible, I'd come by October or sooner and you'll enjoy your trip a lot more.

California mid-September to October is ideal. The weather is good and in San Francisco it is spectacular that time of year. The tourist count is very low, also. Dcember can be tricky depending on what part of California you are in.
You mentioned Louisville. The same timeframe applies to that area of Kentucky. You have missed the hot and humid summer and haven't gotten into cold winter yet.
ok, i guess september shud have been the best. but i guess december will be the only time im available so, guess cali will have to deal with me..
but i guess the new year and the christmas parties must be on by then wont they?,

I can say that the best months to visit CA are months from May to October since November to April are of wet seasons that include fall, winter and early spring.
