It will be pretty easy to get there from lilongwe, me and 2 friends are going, we arrive the 3rd. taxi's can be cheap. buses will be cheaper but you know never an enjoyable ride. we are renting a car while we are there and have nowhere booked for the whole of are stay
There is tents for rent at the festival, £10 a night i think. plus there is lodges near buy, prices vary and its pretty hard to find much on the net.
I have been before and never once had a problem in the 6 months i was there apart from getting malaria.
