I recently booked a ticket to Istanbul and plan to travel by hitch hiking, car share (if anyone has one!) or bus/train through Iran, Pakistan and India. I have no funds and want to ideally reach sri lanka by the 22nd January.
I'm looking for like-minded easy going/brave/positive people to travel the whole or part of the distance with me. I'm planning to write off to charities to gain sponsorship, or just do it as a challenge. I see the journey as a spiritual challenge, to shed any negativity and fear and do something crazy... although I'm very level headed I promise!
Any advice is also welcome (please note: I know about the single channel through Pakistan and that you need police escorts etc.)
