We're planning a trip to Thailand, but we have a big doubt: Bali or Thailand beaches?.
Bali or Phuket?
Bali or Krabi?
Bali or Phi Phi?
Phuket, Krabi or Phi Phi?

If you were to ask me, I'd go to Bali. Did you consider Kota Kinabalu though?
I would opt for Thailand over Bali. Krabi and Phi Phi are gorgeous; if you go to Phuket, head to Hat Karong as the beaches are nicer there than in the busier, more touristy area.
why not both Bali and Phuket if you have much time?
There are flights from Bali to Phuket or Phuket to Bali @ only less than 70USD if you book early at AirAsia.com
I recommend Phi Phi only for 1 night. This place is just too noisy, with dozens of tourists, clubs, and shops. Sometimes you will feel like in the mall.
If you can, go to Koh Lipe - gorgeous, calm place.

Phi Phi = lovely water, dirty beaches
Phuket = busy, tiny jelly fish that stink every thirty seconds,
not been to krabi, or bali.
If its peace and quiet your after try koh jum. 1 hour longboat ride from phi phi .... Beautiful !!
For diversity and cultural experience Bali gets my vote. As much as I love Thailand, if you are on a short trip, Bali gives more bang for the buck.
