Best travel tablet / netbook?

I came accross a rather cool app on FB the other day which quizzes you and then tells you your 'dream travel destination' based on your answers.

It's an app built by ASUS, so I'd take any of their recommendations with a grain of salt...

Yeahhh

I have an iPad. I love it. It's light, it has the best app selection (due to having the largest market share) and the battery life is decent. You can load it with travel guide ebooks and it has a decent size hard drive.

i got greece as my dream destination !!! the Eee pad slider looks like a fantastic bit of kit !!

i did get a galaxy tab which was a massive let down to be honest !

greek salads all round !

Hmm, you two first time posters wouldn't happen to be sponsored by ASUS to astroturf? I mean, pretty difficult for the second poster to know which app the first is talking about after I removed the link.

I would go for Asus or Samsung. I would want to got for macbook or something but I think it's a bit expensive. So I prefer those two.

IPad with the forty dollar camera connection kit and a bunch of travel apps. Hard to beat.

I like my Asus EeePC Netbook. It was easy to transfer what was on my old Toshiba laptop to this computer. Easy to store photos, etc. Doesn't take up too much room in my bag. I think it is more versatile than a tablet. Remember to password protect your computer! Any bank or sensitive data you do not want anyone else to read change the passwords or do not use saved passwords. When someone steals your computer you do not want them to also get into your bank accounts or other sensitive data!

Up to you.
