I was also planning on travelling around Australia myself but I feel that it's a little too far away considering I've not travelled on my own before. I haven't been able to find any companions who have the funds or time to go away. I've been talking about going to Europe, or at least starting there and I am able to extend my travelling period to the sort of time frame you were suggesting.
hey there,jus read your other blog and you have the same idea as me. when was you planning on starting your trip. and what sort of things are you into? i like me partyin and having a laff but also i like to see the sites and ruins and stuff (not all the time like only every so often) and enjoy relaxing on the beach and water sports and loads of other things. anyways what plans have you got. my plan was to backpack around taking trains and stuff starting in northern france for a short while then headinng south for the summer.
nothin is set in motion yet as i said i only just desided about startin in europe.

how do you find organizations where you can volunteer for food and lodging? i'm interested in that cool idea!
