Hello I've tried to upload a video from youtube but when I go to my blog it won't play, just a blank black screen, any idea what the problem could be?
Hi Neil, does the same video play on Youtube? If it plays there, and is public, it should just embed on a TP blog as well...

It seems that switching it to public on youtube solves the problem... is there any way of keeping them private?

I'm afraid not, as that's kind of the point of Youtube's privacy settings (users have to log in on Youtube for them to be able to verify they are allowed to watch that particular video). You should also have the option to set it to unlisted on Youtube, which should allow you to embed it on Travellerspoint (whilst not showing it in your video gallery here), and as your blog is private, that should keep it private here in any case. However it does mean that if someone by sheer luck happens to type in the the right link to the video, they could see it on Youtube. It's certainly better than having it show up on searches on Youtube though!
