Hey guys! Basically I'm planning on being in Sydney for early/mid december.. Does anyone have info on working visa for a year ? Are there any major requirements that could set me back ? I'm planning on working out there but does anyone know a rough idea of a good amount to start with in OZ .. Look forward to hearing from you all

Exciting times ahead! Thinking about going to Aus myself on a working visa for a year,just at the planning stage just now,I wouldn,t know where to start,Id be travelling alone and its quite scarey thinking about it..but exciting at the same time huh..

For the visa I,am sure you can apply online,will try and find a link for you,as for requirements,I think its quite straight forward,only need your passport details,not sure on the price tho,maybe someone could pitch in with this question?
Are you planning on staying in Sydney and working with this area or do you plan to move around? What sort of work are you looking for and how much cash you taking..thats my concern at the moment,Ive read its quite expensive out there.
What about accomadation,have you got anywere lined up? I hear the hostels are reasonanable in price.

I applied for my working holiday visa the other day, it was really simple, took 20minutes and they got back to me with it being granted in less than 24 hours! :D it costs around £250 and you pay for it on application online. They also have a list on the requirements for getting into and working in oz
