We are senios of 60+, will be in Melbourne for 7 nights in October 2013, & plan to see most of the must-see in and around Melbourne.
We are actually quite flexible in our travelling time. We tentatively choose October because we thought that is the best time with best weather. We are also flowers lovers and we thought Spring might be the best time to see the bloooms in the gardens in Melbourne and places around. We aslo love to visit Lavender Gardens & strawberriy farms.
(1) Will welcome suggestion for other time with good weather, flowers blooming everywhere, and not so busy with festivals or events.
We are thinking of booking accommodation online before our trip to Melbourne.
(2) For day tour packages, shall we pre-book online or wait until we are in Melbourne then shop around for good deals?
