Hi guy, will be heading off to Aus on WHV 2nd July landing on 4th just seeing if anyone else going out around this time as will be looking for flat/houseshare while im working. Would be good to meet up with ppl thinking of doing the same. thanks

Im flying into Sydney and lookin to stay and work there for a while first (as i know of someone out there) and then travel up east coast just doing odd work here and there. Until i get to Darwin then after time there fly on to begin travelling through Asia. . What bout you?
Hi Dave, I'm heading out on the 1st arrive on the 2nd into Sydney staying for the first couple of weeks to see if i like the city to stay longer or move up the coast. i'm booked in at the YHA in the Rocks it looks the business i have to say. my plan is pretty similar to yours heading up the coast via Brisbane and Cairns let me know where you are staying and when you get in would be good go head out for some drinks and explore the city with someone else.

ok cool, well i gunna be lookin for flat / house share in Manly area of Sydney as i already have a job lined up :D. Looking to stay around 6 months to try save some more mny for travels. You goin on the WHV? yea that sounds good to me, will have to meet once i got sumwer to stay.

yeah heading over on a WHV. Have you got yourself a hostel booked for when you get in? I've not made any plans passed the first 11 days so will be a bit of a rush once i get there. I've heard mixed things about sydney from my friends who have been there so i wanted to get a feel of the city myself before i decide if i am going to stay there longer term or head up the coast.
Jord, this time of year most people will be heading up to Cairns as its still good weather and its right by the barrier reef. defo worth a visit from what i've been told.
Planning to do Fraser Island as well when over there if any of you are interested in that.

No ent got anywer to stay yet, if i dont find a place before i get there then ill prob have to spend few days in hostel before i find a house share. I got nothing planned apart from concentrating on working for at least 6 months . then decide whether to start with the travelling up the coast or work for little longer somewhere.
if you want i will message you my number and details and stuff so once out there can have a look about together. let us know if you find a house share that has two spare rooms as i might be interested in one myself
