If you had the opportunity to travel all around the world all the time. With no worry on finances or a job. Would you do it and why?
No. I still like visiting far away places but I find travel itself increasingly hard work these days, getting to and waiting at bus stations, railway stations and airports, travelling cattle class on airplanes and other transport, spending endless hours on trains and buses when the view is endlessly boring. Fortunately I am not usually bothered by jet lag, having spent so much time in different time zones.
Travel can become not exactly boring, but routine. When I went to Angkor Wat, it was no big deal. I have seen endless temples in India and other Asian countries as well in Europe, Egypt, Mexico, Central and South America, etc. I am glad I went there but it was just another temple complex.
At times, nothing beats putting my feet and the normal comforts of home, even if like present it is a long term rented country house in southern Spain.
Like all the other things, we could get bored to travel all the time. On the other hands, I think that it's more difficult getting bored to travel because you always go in a new place that you don't know. It's always something of new!
I don't think I'd like to travel forever- it would get tiring after awhile. It's nice to have a home. But, I would like to spend a year at a time in different countries. I've lived in China and South Korea for several years. I'd like to try a half year or year in each of these places:
Australia
India
Japan
Russia
Italy (Rome or a northern city, such as Bologna or Florence)
Spain OR Lisbon, Portugal
London
Paris
Vienna OR Prague OR Budapest
Kenya OR Tanzania OR Cape Town, South Africa
Rio de Janeiro
New York City
6-12 years (depending on how long I lived in each place)
I'd use these bases to travel around, locally. For example, from Vienna most of Central Europe is a 1-2 hour flight, or overnight on a train.

Completely agree. If possible, this would be my preferred style of travel.
You get a better chance to understand a destination and its people, plus I like the feeling of being part of it instead of just observing.
I agree with @madpoet. It is not possible to travel throughout the life, but there are few countries, which I also love to explore before retiring. Some of them are:

New York City
Scotland
and many more
