You can stay in touch here,this has everything fb has,except for the wall & the chat feature.Send people messages,upload photos etc. here
Of course, sharing in the forums is a good way to do this. Providing genuine, helpful, and useful advice is the best way to engage with other travellers. You can also add members as friends from their profile and follow their latest activity in your .
Agree to what kellie has mentioned, add people with whom you want to connect and get to know more about the fellow travelers. Apart from that you can discuss about your and their interest and once you're comfortable you can add them on fb, yahoo, gmail etc.
I also want to know, can we post our FB id or mail address here for connecting some guys?
