I'm flying to Melbourne in August, may stay until Sept/Oct... I'll be going from hostel to hostel too so will let you know if I come across any good ones! If I'm still there in October, would be good to meet as currently I have just a couple of friends I know there and would like more!

Yeah any help would be great Looking at booking into Discovery Melbourne as my first one as there is currently a deal on hostelworld that if you stay for at least 7 nights it's only £13 a night with breakfast and pasta/rice thrown in.
Would be good to keep in touch though even if you do move on. the more contacts the merrier!

I'm good too thanks It'd the first time I've been on a while so keep finding threads and you are always the latest post, feel like if I keep posting I'll look like a stalker!
Haha I keep talking to people and everybody seems to be just winging it when they get there! I keep having a panic about going it alone but there's got to be hundreds of people all in similar positions so that's keeping my mind at rest for now. I'll see what happens closer to the time though ha!
