has anybody been here during december christmas week ? a thai friend iof mine highly reccommends it to me...im after somwhere to chill out and relax with nice quiet beaches ideal for swimming...only looking to spend 3-4 days here between 27-31st december.

ive blanked that idea now (too muc travelling time) considering im only gonna be in thailand for 8 days and i wanna be back in bannkok intome for new year so any 7-10 hour bus/train journeys have gone out the window,will mnost probably visit ko phayam when i go back in april as i will have few weeks longer then to travel around with outrushing.
ive now got flights booked from bkk-phuket,spend 1 night in phuket then get boat from there or krabi to either koh jum or one of the other islands(not lanta and probably not phi phi as ive already beene there),somewhere nice and chilled out with good quiet beach nice for relaxing and swimming.
any suggestions?
the joy bungalows on andaman beach seemed ideal yet ive enquired and they are fully booked.
