help with travelling around South East Asia

Hello

Hi there,

It is nice to visit Kuala Lumpur, there are some sights worthy of visiting.

As for Singapore, you can give it a pass, i think.

cheers...

It sounds like a good route and one that many people do. Alternatively from Bali you could fly to Singapore or KL and then upwards through Thailand, cross into Laos from Northern Thailand, down the Mekong via the slowboat to Luang Prabang then on to Vietnam (fly from Vientiane to Hanoi then travel South) and Cambodia, finishing at the Thai Islands. This is a popular route especially if you want to do the slowboat as you would be going downstream. How long are you travelling for though?

Both Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are worth a few days in my opinion.

Hi there,
If you're in Singapore and need help.. just drop me a note...
Happy travels..
cheers...

Unless things have change you will have to go through KL, Singapore or Bangkok to get to Cambodia anyway as you can't fly direct from Bali.

Not sure which country you leave from - but maybe start with Siem Reap, do the route you already suggested and finish up in Bali. Hard to say without knowing your budget/time scale and where you're flying from.
