world cup in thailand

i will be leaving england on the 19 june, i will therefore miss england last group game and any further games, i am going to thiland and the time difference means some games could be around 2-3 am, will they be shown in thailand and will there be somewhere to watch it? anyone in the same boat?

From what I have heard, the bars in Thailand have been given special permission to stay open to show the later time World Cup matches. Don't worry I would bank on nearly all bars showing the matches, the Thai's love their football (you can't get away from Premiership football when it's on!).

All matches are being shown on True cable network and in dual language commentary too. Most bars will probably advertise the fact they are showing matches too, so don't worry!

Here's a guide to all of the World Cup football to be shown in the bars/restaurants in Bangkok

Never fear, you can watch more football inThailand than pretty much any country in the world - It is awesome ... I remember one Saturday watching 6 premiership games at once in a bar while my mates at home could only listen on the radio LOL

yeah marky that is awesome, i had the same thing! and u will find the games no problem, i used to watch champs league games at like 3am all over thailand, they love footie out there and tons of europeans out there so u will have no worries at all watching games out there, alot of bars are run by ex pats too so they will surely be showing them, u will have a blast!

the final will be in the middle of y honneymoon.I hope I can watch it in the room.

Omg, can I just say that I love all you European footballers, worried about being to watch the World Cup on vacation! We lack that kind of devotion here in the States. Right on!
