i had same problem.just booked surfside bondi beach, they have rooms less but its a minimum 9night stay and £60 night. i surpose its new year.but its in a reali good spot
Hostel Bookers - Just did a search for Sydney Hostels booking starting from 23rd December for 9days - Might give some of u guys still lookin for Xmas/NY accomadation some help - keep in mind thou most hostels have a policy for X amount of days minimum stay - usually 7 or more

i think im going to be in thailand for xmas and new year now!!

I just took the plunge and booked Wake Up in Sydney for 14 days over Christmas and New Year.
Anyone else going to be staying there?
Im staying in wake up for 10 or 11days (cant remember exactly) over Xmas & NY so may see u there Phil. Was a bit at the price but its paid for now.....
