Mmm, I would personally go for NEVER renting a bike or any 2 wheeler in asia.
The very likely crashes are pretty annoying when it comes to deinfection and keeping it sterile. When its healed its still annoying since the young skin is very easily sunburnt.
Every year I see so many young ppl with bandages all over... I even once met an Italian with his footh swollen like a big football and mades crawling around in the wound (volleybal accident on a beach by hitting his footh slightly against a rock.. after the accident, it was not cleansed well resulting in a heavy infection and necrosis when hiking in Taman Negara).
