I'm planning on a trip to Aus hopefully starting sometime in September! I'd much rather not go by myself so I'm just wondering who's out there I don't have any solid plans yet, just want to go exploring

I dont have have solid plans either, staying in a hostel for my first week in Melbourne then just gona see where the wind takes me, although i do have a few places on my hit-list; Ayers Rock, Gold Coast, Sydney for NYE

Sounds good. I want to see as much as I can and I have no deadlines/time restraints so pretty much anything is good for me. I'm just not totally sure when I will be going yet, like I said I'm hoping for September some time.

I'm think it would be easiest for me to start off with Travellerscontactpoint which has a similar program to Ozintro but cheaper I believe. Just to get me started off and get some idea of what kind of work is available out there. I don't necessarily want to start working right off the bat though. Would definately like to do some adventures first :D

I'm all booked up for arriving in Cairns on 27th Sept. Nothing set in stone yet, but I plan to buy a Greyhound pass when i arrive and travel as far as Sydney hopping on and off. Meeting a friend in Melbourne on 10th November before flying across to Fiji... so, the East Coast is my playground for around 6-7 weeks. Anyone planning a similar route, fancy meeting up? Give us a shout ;-)
Well I've finally got my flight booked for Dec. 30, so I'll be landing in Sydney on Jan. 1 just missing New Year's eve

im planning on travelling to australia sydney on the 27th Dec and staying till around 15th jan 11, heading to melbourne for a few more weeks after this.
planning on travelling solo for all this but i'm now starting to doubt whether i should do it alone? havent booked the flight yet.
