I’m planning to go to Koh Phangan around 23rd or 24 th July(full moon party will be on 26th July as i see the schedule).I need a major information from u guys about the transportation and accommodations. From my thought, I’m going to take bus from KL to Hatyai. I will take midnight bus and will arrived at Hatyai approximately at 10 a.m.So, is it necessary for me to buy ticket from Hatyai to Surat thani? And from Surat thani, how am I supposed to go to the jetty? I will be travelling alone and I’m happily if other backpackers interested to join me as well. The trip should be more fun and eccentric.I didn’t book any hotels or guest house so is there any chances for me to find the place to stay easily while I was there? The budget ones and cheap because I’m an average backpacker. Maybe the duration of trip will be around 5 days or a week. Depends on the financial standing
Could you check that schedule again? The FMP is the 28th of july, not 26th.
It is important because some hotels have a minimum stay...
I dont have experience travelling from Malaysia.. But once you get to Surat thani, simply buy a ticket for ferry or joyboat to phangan. This will include a bus ticket for surat thani to the peer as well (long busride)
