Was wandering on average how much money people take on their first trip--x
Not been on a trip yet myself, but I'd imagine it'd depend on where you're going, for how long and whether you're on your own or not.
That will depend on where they are going - and how long for. Plus whether its a package deal or flight only and buying a room every day.
Your question needs to be narrowed down quite a bit.

yeah sorry i should have been more specific, im planning to go to europe then asia--- for about 3-6 months from january and was wandering taking everything into account how much i would roughly need- just a ballpark figure x

Europe is expensive, Asia is not. You need probably around thousands of euroes.
