Having a C type visa for Germany

Hello. I am from Turkey(and I am a Turk) and I currently live in Turkey. I have applied for a visit and tourisim visa for Germany, as I have done 4 times before, for 77 days long. But this time, when I got the visa I have seen that, validty of visa is for Germany instead of schengen countries. Its type is C. I did'nt understand why and I think that it would not work as schengen visa and I would be not free to travel other countries during my stay.

If it says "valid for Germany" - well, then you can travel only to Germany, not to other Schengen countries. As for the reason why: making an educated guess I think that you are over the 90/180 days rule. Essentially you need to stay away from the Schengen area for 91 days minimum to get a Schengen visa for all countries again. Telling the German embassy of your plans to travel to other Schengen countries will also help.
