Hello,
If its your first trip, I would drive the East coast. Its easier, and to be honest, a lot more beautiful. Maybe look at doing the West coast on the way back up once your confident with the car and DRC, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Angola and few others.
Cheers,
Jamie
Hi Joe
I have the same idea, but i live in South Africa, want to fly to London and buy a secondhand landcruiser there and travel all the way back in it. What would the be the legal way to do that?
On the east coast there is this one road that I believe hits from cairo all the way to cape town. One long road travelling throught the beauty of Africa. My knowledge of this road only comes from a travel show about the most beautiful roads to drive on. I am too lazy to google it, but the road to go through the amalfi coast in italy was on there.
peace upon your travels!
