Study Abroad in Greece or Italy?!

I will be studying abroad early next school year, but I am starting the process now, so that I can get everything done and not have to worry about things last minute. I am stumped between studying in Athens, Greece; Rome, Italy; and Florence, Italy. I am going to be 21 when I go, so I'm obviously looking for a place with a great nightlife and party scene; as well as a great place to meet people!

The obvious question is - what subject are you taking and which university would be better?

Also, a side question, does anyone know if you can study abroad in one country fall semester --> come home --> and then study in another country spring semester?

Theoretically yes, practically it is difficult. First there are regulations by your home school about acquiring credit elsewhere, you got to keep your eyes peeled. Second there is dealing with 2 different languages in a very short time. Unless you are already fluent in modern Greek or Italian you might very well end up wasting your time bc you cannot follow the lessons due to the language barrier.

yes there are some programs regarding this..i've also heard from somewhere and i agree with t_maia that u'll face some difficulty in this...

If you're basically asking about which place would be best to travel around Europe from, I'd have to say Italy. More flights, ports, trains, etc. Greece is somewhat inaccessible in terms of the number of ways you can travel around, mostly you will take flights from Greece. Also from Italy you can easily take a trip to Greece from Italy if you want. (And Italian is probably easier to learn!)
