hi guys
It is always worrying first time travelling, however, Australia is one country that so many people tour. Plus the route you are choosing to do is very common. Thus I think save your money and go alone, if you stay in hostels you will meet lots of people and could potentially end up travelling with them, thus a kinda like a tour group and saving you the money.
My first time abroad was in Europe and I found that I was nervous but thankfully saved my money and did it by myself. As corny as it sounds, you also learn so much about yourself too when travelling alone. I highly recommend it.
But some cheap tour companies are contiki
I am good in arranging, may i help?
Thanks ozzie girl, il check contiki out, and rohanvora im up for any of ur suggestions
I'm actually having the exact same situation! I'm planning to travel to Melbourne in Feb 11 and am very nervous about what to do and how to plan...but everyone tell me how amazing Australia is, so no backing out! Where are you flying to?
Hey, Im planning to fly to either sydney or melbourne end of jan but get a connecting flight to darwin as I hav found this 25 day trip touring the north then moving down the east coast back to sydney then im hoping to stay on for a bit and hopefully play it by ear. As much as I want to just backpack in hostels and meet people as I go i dunno if i have the confidence yet so i thought maybe a tour would ease me in then i could carry on myself...whats your plans? how long u wana be out there for?
