I have at long last booked my RTW trip and leave 5th December. China/Thailand/laos/Vietnam/Cambodia/Singapore/Bali/Oz/newzealand and Fiji and then S/America until my money runs out. I'll be travelling with a couple of girls I have met off here. I was just wondering if anyone was doing anything similar to exchange ideas/routes/meet up etc....

Me and another girl Andrea are going to be in Thailand for New Year. We were thinking Full Moon. How about you? We are only going to be in China for ten days. Another girl Emma will be meeting us on the 17th Jan to do Laos/Cambodia and Vietnam, at the moment we are working on getting our route and visas together.
That is an amazing route. How long do you reckon you will spend in Asia? I'm going in Jan, flying out to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, then we are heading north & then back down again and have until May in Asia. How are you travelling from Singapore - Bali?

we are spending 3 and a half months in Asia. Our ticket is for a year so we crammed South America into it, just to get a taster really, as it worked out a good deal on our RTW ticket.
We were thinking air asia or fire Fly??? to fly from Singapore to Bali I have been looking into it and it is about £45. It is the visas that all seem so confusing!!!

Yes booked my ticket - cant wait! Never heard of firefly but have just looked them up & they seem cheap.
I havent got a clue about visas, are you organising any before you go? I've sorted the Oz one but havent done any of the asian ones.
Have you been travelling before? Its my first time, so excited. xx
