This is my first post here and it definitely looks like a great community. I'm an easygoing 25 year old guy who has lived in South Africa, Israel, Los Angeles and now New york. Made a spontaneous decision to take some time off work/life to see more of the world while i'm young and meet new and interesting people. Unfortunately my friends are not as adventurous so i'm going SOLO for the first time. If anyone has similar plans and will be there around the same time it would be great to have company/meet for drinks.
A few hundred thousand fellow tourists about in Thailand then. Pop along to KSR and meet some at the eating and drinking places there. A number of travel agents about too.

Succes in all your travel adventures! I'm from Belgium, but live in Thailand nearly 20 years. I am having that " crazy midlife crisis " idea, of riding around the world on a scooter. Anyway, enjoy Thailand, and try to get out of the city as well. Go see some of the islands.
