Starting off from Islamabad Pakistan travelling down to karachi and taking the coastal highway to Iranian border and crossing into Iran and passing through coastal Iranian city of Shiraz into Basra (Iraq) and onto Kuwait. From kuwait to Saudia and then to Cairo and the North African leg till Tangiers. We plan to enter Europe through Iberian peninsula.

I'm really interested to hear the responses that come to this as I think it sounds very challenging.
I only know a few snippets. I've read that for China you need to pass their own driving test to drive there. Uk and other European countries I'd expect you to have visa problems unless you can show them you're not a risk of overstaying. And generally i think countries can be bureaucratic and difficult about bringing cars in.
Your first task is to research Visa and border crossing regulations. For example, on a tight budget China is not possible for you, period.
Good luck with your research, you have a lot of bureaucracy to wade through before finalizing a route...

By the way, start surfing websites like . It's mostly for motorcycles but has a wealth of information regarding border crossings and such.
There are lots of other long distance vehicle blogs out there too.

Yo.
44 destinations/countries in a maximum timescale of 4 months, averages about 2.7 days per place. You have stated you will be driving a 800 cc car (not the fastest beast on earth).
Now i am not the kinda dude to rubbish anyone's plans but with all the best will in the world this seems a very difficult thing to achieve.
Research, research, research, take into account border formalities, paperwork, breakdowns and any other unseen problems.
Best of luck.
Ditto.
I suspect once the research starts in earnest that the logistics will naturally start bringing everything in line...
Cheers,
Terry
It does seem a lot to do in that space of time. Also how will you get a Saudi visa?
Wow! Great choice to planning to world Travel trip.
Best of luck and God bless you.
