hello=) i've been reading the posts on europe forum and they have been really helpful to me. =) but i would like to know if there is a cheap flight from vienna to amsterdam? or is there a train ride as well? i would like to know because my friend and i will be staying in vienna for a week and we would like to see amsterdam... is there any cheap way we could do that?? thanks a lot!

take a cheap and short train ride from Vienna - 1-2 hours to Bratislava - get thee to the airport in Brati - then fly on Skyeurope to Amsterdam for as little as 60 euros for a one way flight

Taking a train will take some time and is not cheap but it is a very nice trip : Vienna (at) - Linz (at) - Passau (de) - Regensburg (de) - Nurnberg (de) - Wurzberg (de) - Frankfurt am Main (de) - Koblenz (de) - Dortmund (de) - Duisburg (de) - Arnhem (nl) - Utrecht (nl) - Amsterdam (nl)

If you travel this way in the summer there is a direct line. Sorry but I don't know exact from wich to what date this is. In autumn/winter/spring you have to change trains at Frankfurt am Main or Duisburg. This can be done very easy.
The day train will give you a better way to see a lot of Austria an Germany and will give you a great view on the rivers Danube (Wien - Regensburg) and the Rhine (Frankfurt - Emmerich)

How about Easyjet.. Vienna-London Gatwick-Amsterdam? Around €55 one way. Both flights would total less than 3 hours.
Wizzair do Bratislava to Eindhoven. Both cities are only an hour away from Ams/Vie and their fares are cheaper than Easyjet's.
