I have applied for a work permit to be an au pair in Denmark on Feb 17. i know that the process should be up to 2 months before the permit will be granted. so while waiting i would like to travel and visit some friends in the schengen states. is it possible to apply for a schengen tourist visa then? i would just ask for only 15 days or something. and the traveling plan would be around the beginning of march. it's a different type of visa. so i wonder if i could apply for the tourist one or not.
