Hi
I'm planning on going to Hanoi in February/March next year.. I want to spend a month volunteering with children with disabilities.. But Im finding it hard to find online children's organizations in Hanoi.. If anyone knows of any please let me know!
Claire,
Several of our members have enjoyed their experience with . One place to start.
but as far as I know,"hanoi kids" is organization for students who want to speak and practise english by being tour guide. Guests (foreigners don't have to pay anything for them). It means that Hanoi kids is not organization for disable children.
I know one from Hanoi University, it is "Sharing a smile", you can check on internet about this.
- About Hanoi, you can easily find hotel in Old Quarter to stay, and then discover hanoi. For long time like this and just to discover Hanoi, I recommend you should visit:
- Hoan Kiem lake, see water pupet near the lake, Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Museum of Art, Museum of Ethnology, One Pilar pagoda...........and other traditional villages such as Van Phuc silk village, snake village, Dong Ki furniture village, Duong Lam village..............
Thankyou! I tried to search online for sharing a smile but i couldnt find anything? Do you have a link?
Sharing a smile is one small part of Operation smile, I think you can search with key word Operation smile or if you still have difficulties, you can access faculty of management and tourism, hanoi university to know more about this at : web.hanu.vn/fmt.
Best luck
