Hi, I am planning a trip to Asia around February next year. if anyone has any advice or recommendations at all i would love to hear from you.
I've been having a bit of a read around, and have provisionally decided on the following route.
to fly to Bangkok - spend some time there, then head south, Ko Pha ngan, Phuket, Ko phi-phi etc.
Cross from Hatlek to Krong koh kong/Sihanoukville Cambodia. Followed by Phnom Penh, Angkor - then head east via Kratie toward Vietnam border. In Vietnam is to travel north from Ho Chi Minh up to Hanoi. Head into Laos visit Vientiane, Vang Vieng etc - then back into Thailand to visit Chiang Mai, more Northern Thailand.
The following part is less clear - I want to spend about a month in China, including Beijing and Hong Kong and more rural areas - have thought about woofing there? The plan was also to spend about 2 weeks in Thai, 1 in Cambodia and Laos, 2 in Vietnam - maybe more - very flexible.
but anyway, the plan being to fly to China from Thailand afterwards.
