Best bars in Paris (for culture and reasonable prices), it has to be Montmartre.
Just wanted to pass my thanks on to you flyingbob - went to MontMartre and absolutely loved it - had a fab time, so thanks for your reply!!!

And, although its only a minor point, I found the coffee in the bistros there - the finest I've ever tasted.
