Can anybody recommend me a place in Sydney that sells vehicles such as backpackers vans?
You may be best looking at Gumtree for that area. normally can pick up a great bargain from backpackers leaving to go home.

I have bought a van from French couple. I did go to mechanic before purchasing it. It had some repairs but there were minor. I think I've got a really good deal
Check out message boards at the popular backpackers....there's always a few notices put up by people looking to offload a vehicle.
