Fellow globe trotters:
There is only a ferry to Ometepe from Granada once a week....Maybe twice. Rivas, where you will have to go to anyway to continue up to Granada, has a turnoff to San Jorge, where there are more regular ferries out there.
Granada is going through a Renaissance. It is still sleepy. But there are alot more expat businesses there now. It's really coming into it's own....again, I guess.
