On the coast of Brazil you could try Paraty which is around 3 hours in the bus south of Rio. From there it is easy to go to Ilha Grande which is around an hour on a daily boat.
Both probably have the things you are looking for. Plenty accommodation to be had, be it in a hotel, private lodgings or hostels. Nice bars, restaurants in Paraty and less so on the island but you have beauty and tranquility there. You can surf happily there too if that's your thing.
Iguazu falls is a bit away but may be worth a return flight from Rio. Both sides of the falls are stunning.
Not sure about the weather in June. Might be worth checking out. I was there in November and the weather was pretty good. Think maybe October might be perfect.
