Ideas for 2 week Europe trip Sept/Oct

Hi all,

Hi,

If I have any info, I'll let you know too I'm actually planning on a trip directly after WYD for two weeks during end of Aug and early Sep. When I search online, the Eurail is the most economic method so far. I love historical buildings and scenic views. Any idea?

Maybe we can exchange ideas...

Blessings,
Cindy

If you would like to cycle some days, you could travel a part of the Danube cycle route (Donauradweg/ part of Eurovelo 6) The route covers Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria.
If you plan to go to Croatia/Bosnia, you might also go to Serbia/Hungary to do a bit of cycling over there.
In June I will cycle from Budapest to Belgrade, so afterwards I could give you some info on parts of the route, if you're interested.

And indeed, interrailing is one of the better methods to get around in Europe. Otherwise Eurolines (bus) might be an option, but generally trains are faster/more economic.
If you go by interrail, it might be good to figure out whether you need a global pass, one country pass, or Balkan pass etc. Anyway, that mainly depends on how often you want to travel etc.
