@ Robertjohn: Hey! Thanks for the reminder! I'll keep that in mind and remember to photocopy all the important documents and of course read up enough before i go over.

@amypham: I'll be visiting northern Vietnam this time round because of the short time frame I have but would definitely love to drop by Southern Vietnam on my next trip because I don't think I'll be able to finish Vietnam in a trip. Please do keep in touch with me and I'll update you if I'm going to the southern area(: Also do help me with the many doubts that i have since you will know Vietnam alot better then me

@Dowdy: Yes you know how i feel! I'm really excited!(: But I'm every worried about the weather in July. I've checked many of the books around and on the net. Vietnam in July looks like a really wet season
I'm actually intending to visit Northern Vietnam(Because of Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa- seems like a really beautiful place) but the weather there seems the worst in July. I'm not sure if there are other parts of Vietnam where i can explore without too much of the bad weather damping my travel mood. I'm going during the 3rd week of July. How about you?

@johnny Nyugen: Read my post and you will know I'm really keen on going the northern area and visit those places that you have highlighted. I'll be more then willing to meet new friends How about the weather in July? Would it be advisable for me to visit in July?

@hanh_asialink: I have only a week in vietnam. Halong Bay and Hanoi are the must not miss! it looks really wonderful on the net Sapa's view is breathtaking even on pictures. Apart from the north which really attracts me, I'm starting to explore the central and southern region for other attractive backpacking destination. Given the short time, Would i be able to cover north to south? Or is there any areas where you will highly recommend me to go in July with consideration of the weather?

TO EVERYBODY: really great to see all these replies! Its a really lengthy post i know. But its because I'm really so looking forward to it!
Hope to hear from all of you and more of you soon!

In July, the weather is hot, sometimes it has some rains... But don't so worry, I'm sure that will not affect for your trip. Please contact with me if you want to have more helps.
