Hey Kailey
I've also never done any travelling before but think the slight fear of travelling solo adds to the thrill and at the end of day will be in OZ, so sure you will meet plenty of people in same situation.
But i am in Brisbane around 16th june, not sure how long for just going to see where it takes me, as your there before me be much appreciated if have any tips on where's good to go out etc in Brisbane but much appreciated be good to hear from you.

Hi Kailey.
I live in Brisbane. From travelers I've met and lived with, they have found Brisbane the best place to find work and for a base, as it's the major city between the gold coast (surfers paradise, beaches, night life, theme parks) and sunshine coast, which is north
If your time poor, a day or two is fine for Brisbane, leaves more time to enjoy what's south of the border!
@ Rosina:
Where are you heading after Brisbane? I'm going south, making my way down towards Melbourne. Maybe we will cross paths! I will be keeping up with my blog here on this site, keep an eye out for it for any tips or fun stuff I can come up with. Hope to hear from you!
@monie:
I have heard nothing but good things about Brisbane, I'm very excited to get there. I have no time constraints, was thinking about staying in Brisbane for about a week. Can you recommend any good over night trips?

Kailey, fancy meeting for a drink or a ride?
Maybe i'll bump into you on the road and scream Kaiiiileeeeeey like a long lost friend.. =D
Neways, just wanna wish you a fun trip! Take care!
