Hey im in same boat as you Amy, im 23 from warwickshire wanting and tryin to save enough for Thailand in september! Dont realy have plans coz am still terrified of the thought of going on my own! lol. And am struggling to know where to start, iv found STA travel quite good. Id be up for goin oz after for couple of months to.
I guess realy we should just book a flight then will definatly know its happening but it is scarey!

Hopefully going sept as going to v fest with no clue what so ever!! Best plan seems to be no plan but yeah I fancy thailand then oz for how ever long is possible!!! Hopefully this seems to be the place to meet people and re assure yourself you can do it!! xx

If you're starting with Thailand you'll meet hundreds of people like you so don't worry one bit - Bangkok is like a central hub for backpackers and if you spend even just a day there you'll soon be full of information and advice on where to go, what to do and most likely will have found a good crowd of people to do it with.
I went out there on my own on a whim and didn't have a clue what to expect before I arrived. It was a breeze, I wouldn't bother making a plan as you probably won't stick to it.... you'll most likely just be bumbling around with people you meet and feeding off stories and tips you hear on the way.
You're going to have an amazing time!
