Hi everyone,
Check out the website for AmeriSpan. Rates for one week of immersion Spanish lessons, with homestay or just lodgings, are below. Homestay includes meals. Or you could stay in the hostel and pay the lower rate.
I looked up the rates for a school in Central Buenos Aires. I have not been to Argentina, yet, but I used AmeriSpan in Guatemala and had a great experience. It is a large and well-known organization.
4 hrs/day Group w/homestay $520
4 hrs/day Group w/residence, shared room $390
4 hrs/day Group classes only $260
Buen viaje y buena suerte !
Hi, apols if this is a bit late, but i am leaving Buenos Aires in two weeks, and i noticed your post was about Spanish schools in South America. Buenos Aires has loooads and i mean loads. I would recommend hunting around and checking out the reviews on different review sites.
Some options i WOULD recommmend (having hung out with a load of gringos my entire time, we talked a lot about the school
- http://www.eccela.com/ - One of the bigger ones (and i think one of the oldest), i heard the lessons where good and the building nice
- - Again, one of the bigger ones.
- - Much smaller school (in case you want a bit of intimacy!!), but apparently good with nice teachers and located in Palermo, which has all the cool shops and restaurants in buenos aires
One school i heard bad things about was Ibero, i would avoid them. They are uber cheap but accodring to my friends the general service and teaching is bad, and the teachers are always changing.
Hope that helps you. Let me know if you need any more advice
[ Getting rid of some overly promotional stuff as most likely staff of one of the above. ]
