Go get a police check, i know they aren't that difficult and only take a week or 2. With a small fee, you will be able to put your mind at rest! That way you can see what is exactly on your record. Also, simple as it sounds make a call, travel agents, immigration/ visa experts, they should know the answers! Good Luck

thanks for the quick response. So when you say a police check I assume you mean a UK police check?
I'm not too confident in travel agents as they gave me some wrong information regarding passport and Visa back when I was planning my UK trip, to me most are just interested in selling tickets and travel insurance so I'd rather try and ask those that actually know. From the research that I have done so far alot of people have been able to go on holiday to the US under the VISA waiver program but alot of people have reported that they were told they still needed to get a VISA by their Immigration department when in actual fact other people have posted they traveled the US under similar circumstances without a VISA.....ahhhhh confusing I know
Does anyone know of any links to get the appropriate wheels in motion for organising a Police check if you live outside the UK?
