I'm looking for place in Europe to snowboard this winter - at budget, unfrtunatelly, but still good snow and facilities. There are beginners, intermedial and advanced snowboarders in the group, so blue and red will b ok, hve nothing to do with black slopes. Dont interested in apre-ski and shopping, only good snow needed. Any help will be appreciated.

Cheap as in resort prices or the trip (flights + accomodation)
its hard to get anywhere cheap as the big resorts charge big prices for food/drink etc because they can due to the amount of people and they all seem to battle for the highest price.
And the small resorts dont buy as much in and have to get suppies transported in so they have to cover there costs and if ur in the middle of nowhere they've got you cos u cant go anywhere else.
My friends have been bulgaria.... forget the actual resort, i would try looking for a great deal with a medium size resort
I got a great deal to Isola 2000 in france the alps, its a fairly unknown resort but great variety of slope levels but everything was expensive on resort (similar across the country/part of europe) unless you go self catering and go to the supermarkets and make it all yourself, take lunch to the slope with u if its a bit of a trek.
10x for responce, brady. We don't take a "package" (deal), cuz we want some flexibility - to make a daily breaks of slops once a few days and travel around. And really, price of flight may influence very much on final choice. But I want to be ready with 2 or 3 options to the moment when cheap last moment flights will b avaliable. Unfortunatelly flights from here usually going to capital cities of countries, which means transportaton to ski resort.
As usual, I'm looking for "hidden jems", and local ppl usually know it better. Oh, Franch Alps - sounds great to me, wish I could take it. But I afraid i need to concentrate on East Europe this year.
Bulgaria is a good bet.

thanks for responces. I have been in Bulgaria twice (in 2006 and in 2010). Yeah, it s nice, but I'm looking for specific sites - so-called "hidden jems". Probably in Chech, Romania, Slovenia. Germany a bit more expensive but still should b cheaper then Italy, France and Austria, even also there few resorts are unknown for public and relatively cheap. I hope to hear from those who is familiar with local resorts. Price and freqency of flights is also very valiable, I must flight anyway, but most of destinations are capital cities. So sometimes arriving from airport to mountain area may be an issue - like in Poland, for example. Skiing there is inexpensive, may even beat Bulgaria, but it's such a far & complicated way from Warsaw that makes it irrelevant. Also flights to Poland are never cheap (from my place), as it's only schedule flights - no charter.

All right, sorry if it sounds not clear.
1st and formost - I must it budget and located somewhere in Europe (because of distance & flights ability & price).
2nd - I m familiar with Bulgaria, definately it's one of the most inexpencive and Bansko is good quality. But I dont think Bulgary is the cheapest one. That s y I'm researching for other options. What is wrong with it? From my research (partly by own expirence and partly online) I got impresson that Bulgaria, Chech, Romania and Poland have very similar prices. Germany sounds me as a may be (I wish!) possble option as prices of lifts and rent of equpment are not much higher (differ is less then twice), the main difference comes with accomodation and food. But there r Alps - which hard to beat and this is German service. I'm talking about area in direction of Salzburg, but on German territory, coming from Munich. I was trying to collect info for German resorts online, but didnt come to any conclusion - there are lots of resorts in this area and much info of different kinds, which made it too hard to compare. I dont know anyone who skiied in Germany and would like to hear comments and impressions from someone who did.
3rd and the last here - even in countries that thought I familiar with, I find additional interesting options each time when I searching. With basic search in Eng we can see only top of iceberg - sites that travel agencies has interest to sale. And I prefer less crowded and less famous resorts.
