Hi im travelling to oz next year.im very excited but also nervous as will be travelling on my own. if anyone is in the same shoes and would like to meet up whilst out there that would be great. any advice would be much appreciated also caz x

same no actual plans only plan so far is to get the money together lol. i am considering doing one of those introoz packages though? do you know if there worth doing? plus i would like to find work fruit pciking or on a farm to extend my visa if i want to thats about it though x
i sent off for my brochure today just to see at prices but i might not do tht i might just go and find work meself will see what happens x

Im coming to Aus after travelling SE Asia around March/April time next year, no plans at the moment was thinking of just going with the flow, only thing I am planning is a WHV.
I looked at the Ozintro package and I wanted to do it but thinking about it for the money you can do everything yourself for alot cheaper and will probably meet even more people doing it that way so i'm thinking of not doing it anymore.
Still have no idea on where to go first and how much to save, how much are you aiming to take?

i just spoke to sta travel i want to do thailand ,oz,new zealand.for a rwt flight it will cost me 1400 plus insurance for a year 409 so nearly 2 grand for me im over 26 so have to pay more.now im thinking do i do thai or just do aus and nz! but wud love to go to thailand.and for working visa u need 3500 in ya account when u get into the country.i was thinking saving around 8 grand shud do it i think quite easily if im smart.
I received a information about the UltimateOz experience and i must say it looks really good but i do agree it would probably be cheaper doing it yourself.
I plan on heading out to oz march/april time. saving like crazy right now. plans are pretty much the same as cazza. I really wanna do the exciting stuff like diving etc but thinking of maybe getting a job on an orchard first to boost funds although i hear this is very hard work and after 80 or so days you can get your hands on a 2nd year visa!
I suppose you only really know what you are going to do nearer the time. leaving my job for it so i guess i really wanna spend a good 6 months at least out there.
i plan on heading out there with around 4600 aud spare cash just to be safe, how about everyone else ?
is tht 4600 just ya spending money what about ya flights?
