I am just about to finish 2 months volunteering in nepal, but my tourist visa runs out at the end of jan so I was thinking about sticking around until then and heading to India.
Did you have any plans for what you wanted to do in Nepal and india? My plans are very vague at the moment It would be cool to catch up when you arrive anyway to see if our plans match up at all anyway! Let me know.

Hi there !! On February 12 I will start making my way from Dolakha towards Kakarbhita to enter India, but then I will head to Darjeeling and Gangtok OR Assam and Nagaland and then going to Kolkata on Feb 27 as I am catching a flight on 28. In case we can meet somewhere on the way in Nepal or you like the idea of traveling a couple of weeks in Assam and Nagaland OR and these areas (better with company than alone), or Darjeeling/Gangtok, let me know. I'm planning to be in India in late January, early February and then go to Nepal in March.
I can't tell if you are still around on this thread, but if you are, it'd be good to hear about
your plans.
I'm a little hesitant travel alone right now in India after series of violence against women have become more public.
But I also don't want to miss an opportunity to see this beautiful country and culture, especially since
I'm right now in Sri Lanka till end of January.
